The Scirocco III has an RCD 310, RCD 510 or RNS 315 with a VWZ serial number. The touchscreen navigation versions (RNS 315/510) also use a code after power loss.
Remove the radio and read the VWZ serial number from the label on the side of the unit.
Remove the radio with release keys or Torx screwdriver
Note the full serial number from the label (starts with VWZ)
Enter the serial number when placing your order
Enter the received code with the preset buttons or touchscreen
Only 2 attempts — after that "SAFE" appears, wait 1 hour with the radio switched on
On RNS units the code is entered via the touchscreen keypad
