A radio code is a security code that protects your car radio against theft. After disconnecting the battery or a power interruption, you need to enter this code to reactivate your radio.
Why is my car radio asking for a code?
Your car radio has a built-in security feature. As soon as the power supply is interrupted — for example when replacing the battery — the radio locks and you must enter the original code.
Where can I find the serial number of my radio?
The serial number is usually on a label on the side or back of the radio. For some brands, such as Renault, you can find a PRE code on the display when you turn on the radio. You can also remove the radio to check the label.
How quickly will I receive my radio code?
For supported brands, you will receive your radio code instantly after payment. You will get an access code to use the calculator.
What if the code does not work?
First, check whether you entered the correct serial number or PRE code. If the code still does not work, please contact us via the contact form. We are happy to help.
Which car brands are supported?
We currently support Renault, Peugeot, Volkswagen, Ford, Opel, Mercedes-Benz, BMW, Audi, Citroën, Fiat and Honda. We are continuously working on adding more brands.
Is it safe to request a radio code online?
Yes, requesting a radio code is completely legal and safe. You need the serial number of your own radio, which means only the owner of the radio can request the code. Payments are processed through secure connections with Stripe.
How much does a radio code cost?
The cost for a radio code is €9.99 per code. You pay once and can use the calculator for 48 hours.
