The Vivaro is built on the Renault Trafic platform, so many Vivaros have a Renault radio (Update List or Tuner List) with a PRE-code, while others have an Opel CD30-type unit with a BP serial number. Check the brand on the front of your radio first.
Renault-type radio: hold buttons 1 and 6 — the PRE-code (1 letter + 3 digits) appears. Opel-type radio: remove the unit and read the BP serial number from the label.
Check which radio you have: Renault-style unit or Opel CD30
Renault type: hold buttons 1 and 6 — note the PRE-code (e.g. A123)
Opel type: remove the radio and note the BP serial number from the label
Enter the PRE-code or serial number when placing your order
Enter the received 4-digit code with the preset buttons
On Renault-type units buttons 1+5 sometimes work instead of 1+6
The Vivaro B with Media Nav touchscreen usually does not ask for a code
Maximum 10 attempts on Opel units — enter the code carefully
