The 500X has a Uconnect 5.0/6.5 system, shared with the Jeep Renegade. Most units restart without a code; units that do ask use the label serial.
Check Settings → System Information for the serial, or remove the unit and read the label.
Try a full restart first
Find the serial via Settings → System Information or the label
Enter the serial number when placing your order
Enter the received code via the touchscreen
